Our style of growing is centered on quality not quantity. At every step in the process we operate with the mentality of quality first. Our processing division perfectly compliments our fresh operation. Any fresh product not shipped within 24 hours of harvest is sent to be processed and preserved. This means all of our customers consistently receive the freshest mushrooms.

To-jo is a family business with strong roots. Since our humble beginnings in the 1930’s, the skills and knowledge of our previous generations were passed on to the next with the same goal in mind- “To leave it better than it was handed to them”.
Food Safety
Our facilities have received the highest level of SQF Certification; Level 3. This level of certification is not an industry requirement, but a direct reflection of the company’s commitment to providing the safest products to the market. Another example of this commitment is our comprehensive traceability program. In 2012 To-Jo became the first mushroom grower in the industry to reach full compliance with the Produce Traceability Initiative.
